Manage RINs in one secure platform
CerQlar centralizes RINs data in one platform, replacing manual, error-prone settlement processes with automated, fully auditable workflows. This saves time for the middle office, helps trading desks make better decisions and protects the company against pricing risks and compliance breaches.

Mishandling RINs carries a huge compliance and revenue risk
Thousands of fuel refineries and importers across the US need to fulfill their RVO every year to avoid breaches, fines, and reputational damage. Yet, sourcing and retiring the exact volume of RINs needed is too complex to handle manually.
Inefficient, error-prone settlement
Operations teams spend hours updating files and manually tracking incoming RINs, managing settlements on EMTS, and reporting on retirement.
High exposure to pricing and compliance risks
When teams don’t have access to the latest data, it’s hard to spot delivery and oversupply risks, exposing the company to pricing volatility and RVO breaches.
Complexity of EPA reporting
Manual preparation of EPA reports is time-consuming and error-prone, leading to serious fines if filings are inaccurate and making it difficult to investigate issues.
All RINs tracked, managed, and reported on consistently
From keeping track of incoming RINs to retirements on EMTS and EPA filings, CerQlar gives you the tools you need for managing RINs and RVO compliance.
Manage RINs transactions
Import trade details in a standardized format, automatically match incoming RINs to existing trades, and execute transfers and retirements on EMTS from within the platform.

Frequently asked questions
Find answers to common questions below or simply get in touch and we'll get back to you.
Who is CerQlar's RINs platform designed for?
CerQlar's RINs product is built for obligated parties—refiners and fuel importers—who buy and manage RINs to meet their RVO, and and RINs traders/brokers who trade RINs and manage transactions on behalf of their clients.
Middle office (or operations) teams use it to track RINs trades, manage their inventory and execute transactions on EMTS. This RINs data can be easily exported for the preparation of EPA filings and mandatory reports or audits. Trading desks use it to support decision-making on RINs they need to buy or sell and to mitigate the risk of being unintentionally long or short in terms of the RINs they need to their RVO or their clients needs.
Does CerQlar have an integration with EMTS?
Yes. CerQlar is built to work alongside EMTS, keeping your own trade and transfer records continuously accurate rather than relying solely on EMTS's own reporting cadence, then validating and reconciling against EMTS data.
Does CerQlar support EPA compliance for obligated parties?
Yes. CerQlar continuously validates RIN data against your own records at every stage of the RIN lifecycle, from trade through retirement, so errors surface early rather than at reporting time. All workflows are fully auditable, and data can be exported in EPA-ready format to support quarterly separation and position reports and the annual attestation process.
What are the benefits of using CerQlar for RINs?
CerQlar provides efficiency, risk mitigation, and compliance-related benefits to clients, including:
- Reduced reliance on manual, error-prone processes for settlement and retirement of RINs
- Single source of truth for RINs data instead of scattered across spreadsheets and separate tools
- Visibility of pricing exposure and counterparty risks for better mitigation
- Faster, lower-risk compliance reporting with automated data validation, auditable workflows, and exportable EPA-compliant formats
Does CerQlar calculate my RVO?
No. At this moment in time, CerQlar does not calculate the RVO for obligated parties but it does help you ensure you have sufficient RINs and auditable records to meet your RVO target and reporting requirements.
How is CerQlar different from other RIN management software?
Most RIN management software today is built for smaller or mid-sized petroleum marketers and blenders who need help staying compliant.
CerQlar instead focuses on making settlement and retirement processes more efficient for middle office teams, giving trading desks and risk teams the insights needed to mitigate pricing and compliance risks, and supporting faster, more accurate EPA filings.
How does pricing work?
CerQlar is a subscription-based SaaS platform with multiple plan options to suit your needs. All plans are billed annually. As part of your plan, you're invited to contribute to the product roadmap through interviews and feedback sessions.
How long does it take to deploy CerQlar?
You receive a CerQlar account the moment your contract is signed, and most clients are up and running within a few weeks. You can set your go-live date based on when you're ready to transition your existing workflows to CerQlar, and our team will be there every step of the way to ensure a smooth implementation.
What support does CerQlar offer?
CerQlar's team provides support throughout the onboarding process and on an ongoing basis once you're up and running. During onboarding, a dedicated specialist will walk your team through the setup and configuration process, including live training sessions and advice on customizing fields and workflows to suit your operations.
Once you're live, you'll be assigned a Customer Success Manager (CSM) who serves as your main point of contact for ongoing support and to help you get the most out of CerQlar. For technical issues, support is available via [add email or list channels].
